This might be a long shot, but I'm trying to find a Mavic Comete disc wheel. More specifically, I'm looking for a 700c clincher that will take a 10 speed cassette (Shimano).
While I especially like the Comete, I'm also open to other ideas. Disc wheels from HED seem nice, as do some of the wheels from Renn. I'm also intrigued by the older HED 3 Disc. It's no longer made and I'm not sure if it was made in a clincher, but it looks great and the performance seems to be on par with the top discs out there.
Other than that, I should mention that I'd like a wheel in excellent condition -- true with no hops. I also like pretty things, so the disc shouldn't have any major scratches or wear ... and definitely no cuts in the disc.
I can pay with cash locally (Southern California) or PayPal if you're not in the area.
