as it turns out it's a very broken (mentally disturbed) young man. Filled with anger. He'd been on authorities radar for previous threats of acting out with firearms.

can you imagine what the parents are going thru?

can you imagine what the relatives of all the victims are going thru now?

some people have no business having access to firearms and he was clearly one

*PS. I've never been down with the "he shot the place up" vernacular. Uhh? No he didn't. He shot and killed a bunch of totally innocent people. He didn't "shoot the place up" But perhaps that's just a kinder way of putting things that helps folks deal with such horrific things?
