32, male, not super lean but healthy. Wicked asthma and allergies, lots of long acting steroids in my daily regimen, they are well controlled, but allergy season is starting to ramp up.. Every cold or flu ends up in my lungs for months. Not excited to get this.

42 year old. Fairly average in all ways, although this year I've caught all the kid germs extra hard.

I'm very worried about my husband getting it. 45, overweight, asthma and has had many bouts of pneumonia over the years (one so bad he wound up on IV antibiotics).

I worry about him getting sick and me being at home with two small kids (8&3) and then us/me getting sick as well.

I try not think about it. We are social distancing like crazy, but my husband still has to go work and is responsible for vehicles that have been exposed to Covid. They have protocols in place, but still.

As a cancer patient I know my personal risk is high so I am minimizing my risk by pretty much staying home, wearing a mask anytime outside when people are around and washing my hands a LOT more than I used to. Later on in my treatment schedule I will have another stem cell transplant to buy me some time until the CART-T treatments are more effective, during that time I will have NO immune system, so it will be home-hospital-home only for a couple of months and pretty much nothing else for several months after that until my immune system get rebooted.

Going through a stem cell transplant was dangerous before, it is much more dangerous now.

I'm 53, in good shape, rarely get sick, no health issues at all. I am on the safer side. Wife has multiple co-morbidities.

So I am locked up tighter than a porpoise's ass.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

51 years old male, height and weight appropriate, picture of health until last year. Diagnosed with multiple myeloma. I did 8 months of chemo last year culminating in a stem cell transplant January 10. So I guess by definition I am immune compromised. But my counts are all back to normal except kidney function which is improving.
I live in Wyoming so no deaths in the state so far. As a private chef for a family I bugged out with them 3 weeks ago. Very tight precautions among the staff and any interaction I have they where mask and gloves. We are out in the middle of BFE now and have enough food to feed the family and staff for 5-6 months. So although I had the cancer scare, I feel really good about my chances of not being exposed.
Hoping the whole thing blows over in our area. Time will tell

Type 1 diabetic, but otherwise healthy. I take all necessary precautions when I grocery shop including mask and gloves. I also limit my shopping to one time every two weeks. Live in a smaller, somewhat rural area and we have two confirmed cases county wide so far.

Nope! Riding indoors for every ride, gym has replaced swimming for now, and I'm running laps of 1.5km around the local block where it appears no one else even wants to go outside for a walk when I'm around. Then again, I'm in NZ & we're in complete lockdown so I don't have much choice

Also, raygovett, when this whole pandemic is over, you need to go outside more mate! //semi-pink

I read part of grand rounds at Mass Gen, friend is nurse there, they are using statins with patients, since it is an anti inflammatory. There's bunch of research of Corona entering through the ACE2 pathway, which many including myself is on. There is no conclusion if this is a major risk or perhaps a benefit.

Personally, type 1 diabetes for 53 years, mild asthma/general low lung volume which I was born with.

Need to get groceries (no delivery available), have no mask, using Purell and gloves (also washing shoes since people could sneeze their snart over the floor. Guess I am fucked if I get it. Daughter (not living with us) has ulcerative colitis and on 6MP, so somewhat immunosuppressive, can't get PPE, need to eat to live.

35 here. Overall fit enough and healthy enough but I have a long history of Asthma, like many people here it seems. I thought I had kicked it when I was younger but it seems to re-appear every couple of years to the point of almost needing hospitalization so we will see how I go.

Up until a couple weeks ago I was doing my daily commute to work using 2 trains but my Mrs was having a fit thinking about what would happen to me if I continued to do that, so thankfully I am now solely working from home. I began limiting outside rides to once a week but now I have quit totally and only indoors now, I just don't think it's worth the risk currently.

If I stay put and limit my exposure I think there should be no dramas.

55 with history of asthma.

I work in an ER lab so the specimens come directly to me. I also have contact with the nurses that have contact with the patients.

Risk factor - I'm gonna die from it.

I had to go to wal-mart the other day and almost had an anxiety attack worrying that every stranger really has it and is leaving their germs all over the store. I can't imagine doing what your doing. Take care of yourself!!

I'm 48, no health issues that I am aware of. Not overweight, No asthma or high blood pressure, never had pneumonia or any kind of serious illness. I get sinus infections once or twice a year. I teach 2nd grade so typically am exposed to everything a 7/8 year old can pick out of their nose and leave on their spelling test but manage to stay healthy. I've taken 1 sick day in 5 years at the district. Governor closed schools on March 13th so I've not been around students since then.

My husband is Superintendent of our school so he continues to go to work. He is around a variety of people although there are minimal people in the building at one time. The schools are expected to provide free breakfast/lunch to any students in the district so I help him deliver meals every M/W/F. I barely get out of the van, just bag up the drinks while he's driving and pet a friendly dog every now and then. We ask the families to stay in the house and we leave the lunches on the porch so there is minimal contact with anyone.

My own kids are 12 & 14. They have been pretty much confined unless I take them to the woods for a hike or to go fishing at the inlaws pond.

My greatest exposure to people has probably been while preparing remote learning packets or the two trips I've taken to Wal-Mart. We have had a couple of small staff meetings. There were 5 of us all in one room the other day discussing what to prepare for students.

We live in a rural farm community in central IL and just this week someone has tested positive in our county. Here we go.....

I'm about to turn 59 with no underlying health problems other than the pill I take for high blood pressure.

If it wasn't for all the media attention I wouldn't know anything was going on. I get up every morning and go to work where there are 150 of us doing our best to keep the defense machine running. I go home at night and run or bike like normal, watch TV, and get up and do it again.

My kids are out of the house and I don't normally interact with anyone outside of work much anyway. I still see my neighbors in the evening.

Only big changes are the fact that I take my lunch to work now and my wife and I don't go out to eat anymore.

My daughter is off for a while (movie theater manager) and her husband is working from home (IT guy for a hospital). My son is off until the next big construction emergency happens (Union electrician) and his wife is working from home (health care HR). Neither family is in financial crisis right now.
