No, getting the same/similar results is reliability.
Validity is if a test measures what it is supposed to measure. Jelly-filled are obviously good donuts, so the methodology is flawed and I doubt the validity of the findings.
You make compelling arguments. But I cannot escape from the thought of those abandoned and neglected jellies. Our universe is not meaningless.
