The forced upgrade to 9.1 for my 935 has bricked my watch. Grrrr. I am unable to sync my watch either through my phone or even when hardwired to my PC. Very frustrating.
Welcome any suggestions for a possible fix. The Garmin site is useless.
Press and hold the power button until it shuts down ~15s. Then restart. Should not lose any important data. If that doesn't work, you might have to do a full factory reset which will result in you losing all your user data.
FWIW, I've not seen any other 935 owner on the Garmin site reporting that the update had bricked their watch.
The updates are not 'forced'. You can change a setting not to receive updates automatically - Settings, System, Software Update.
