Simply put, I need to choose between a set of Mavic Cosmos or Rolf Vector Comp to use as my training wheels. I own both, so their price doesn't matter. Any suggestions?

Both of these wheels are pretty even. Not sure there is really much difference. I personally think the Rolfs look cooler and you know that is vital in the triathlon world.

The Vector Comps are much more durable than the Cosmos. I've used and abused a set of vector comps and haven't had any issues. The Mavic equivalent would be the Cosmic Elites. They're fairly boomproof as well.

I use Mavic Cosmos in training and they just can't stop suprising me.. Great for up and downhills courses, great in accelaration (great is relative off course.. great for training) but as some one already wrote here, rolf are far more cooler and give some style.. well... why don't you use both? Cosmos for uphill's day and Rolf for flat courses :P

I've used the Vector Comps for 3 years for both training and racing - everything from duathlons to IMs and they're bomb proof. I don't take particulary good care (comapred to others) of my equipment either and I've never had a problem. These wheels were recommended to me by John Cobb and I've never regretted buying them. Plus they match my bike!
