Re: Meanwhile in other triathlon news: It's NCAA regionals this weekend [Jamie73]
East Regionals:

Top 3 overall teams:
1. Queens
2. Denver (yes the team in Colorado, but they spread out the D1 teams to try and make each regional even)
3. Wingate

Top 3 D1:
1. Queens
2. Denver
3. ETSU

Top 3 D2:
1. Wingate
2. Lenoir-Rhyne
3. Emmanuel

Top 3 D3:
1. Eastern Mennonite
2. Trine
3. Guilford College

National Qualifiers for Heat 1 (but will actually be raced 2nd at national like at regionals so the top teams know the times to beat):
Top 3 teams *overall* from each region
-Next 6 best teams ranked regardless of region and regardless of division
-15 top individuals not on those team

-All other teams/individuals will qualify for Heat 2.

So the scoring goes:
-all teams are scored overall regardless of your division or heat. They combine the 2 heat times and rank 1-xxx (DNS/DNF/Lap don't count; you must finish to get a score); once overall scores are established they will then give an division ranking after.
