Re: Post your average power (watts) and average speed (MPH) from your last race [matto]
Not sure how I can possibly follow Kevin (congratulations!!!), but this is an interesting one for the question of how much faster a full TT rig is over a road bike.

~20k TT, two runs.

Run #1:

1) 293
2) 28 mph
3) 12.443 miles
4) 172 lbs
5) Cervelo P4 with Renn disc rear, Zipp 808 front. Castelli skinsuit, Kask Bambino helmet
6) This is my "normal" TT setup.

Run #2:

1) 295
2) 26.2 mph
3) 12.443 miles
4) 172 lbs
5) 2015 Giant TCR Advanced Pro, 42cm drop bars, left on bottle cages, generic 38mm carbon tubulars. Castelli skinsuit, Kask Protone helmet, Premier chain.
6) This is my "normal" road setup.

The event offered a "non-aero" category, so I did my second run on my road bike. Same skinsuit, but had to change helmets to comply with the "non-aero" rules. I could have used an aero bottle (I didn't) or borrowed some deeper wheels (discs were not allowed, but no limit on rim depth). Also gave myself a nice ~30M gap between starts, so I was somewhat recovered for run #2.

Note that this is at ~5800' elavation, with fairly calm air and temperatures in the 80's. I've got fast equipment, a decent position, and I pace properly, but the thinner air gives me a lot of "free" speed.
