Not to be a dick but the latest check-in for all North American IM events is always two days before the event. Always.
You could've looked at the schedule for 2011 & 2012. They also leave the previous year's schedule up for reference before they make the current year's schedule. It really is your fault for not paying attention to details.
That said, I would try #1. They might (and will likely) tell you tough shit so you'll have to go to #3. Showing up and trying option #2 will guarantee you'll be spectating on Saturday. It really is a hard and fast rule unless you got permission ahead of time.
