OK if it doesn't work in Private Browsing mode then I'm not sure. Submit a support request and someone will get it sorted for you. IE10 is a supported browser.

I noticed that when I view a workout and select one of the peak power levels (ex. 10min), it doesn't update the totals above based on the 10min section. That is different than how classic works. Is this something that will be fixed? I would like to be able to see power, hr, cadence, IF, VI, etc.. for the selection. Glad to see power profile in the new version now.

Any idea when they are going to sort the upload issue from Polar RS800cx watches? When I upload a run from the watch it says 'unknown activity' and calculates TSS based on HR, not run pace. However, if I upload it into TP Classic then it's fine. I emailed the support desk and apparently it's a 'known issue'. It's been a couple of months since I emailed them so I really would have hoped it was fixed by now. I didn't mind too much when it was in Beta, I just went straight into classic, but now I have to log into Beta, then transfer to classic it's a PITA.

Check the box it highlights the section on the map and graph but if you click on Peak 10min (or whichever data set you want to view) it will show the totals for that section.

Thanks. I figured it out. You have to click the label and not the checkbox to make it work. Just clicking the checkbox doesn't recalculate the totals.

Part of the issue TP has is the lack of weekend support. Historically, new releases or cut overs with TP have been met with frustration on many coach's part, having at least a 24 & maybe a 72 hr delay from TP in response time (depending on when you submit your trouble tickets to them). IF I were Gear/Dirk (are you listening?) I suggest that each release TP comes out with, to have on call staff handling incoming tickets/issues with a damage control staff on hand to be able to fix whatever issues may crop up. From a customer support standpoint, this is a no brainer & should be in place already. A triage team on call for issues should be dealt with in real time to tackle a fix be it coding or simple account issues. TP is large enough they can afford support for something that potentially could drive more business away per some of the posts who have opted to look elsewhere for tracking software.

I see there are new tracking softwares coming out all the time that handle many functions that TP does, including power file analysis. One I know of in particular will be launching in the very near future, which does all that plus will be a lot less deniro...

Hmmm...I'll be damned. Opened a ticket (Sunday)...sent it to TP. Their ears must've been burning or they actually learned from TP 3.0 & put something in place, or heard about the gripes on forums about issues here...because I got an email back from Frank Pipp at TP within probably an hour of submitting a ticket to them. Good on them then!

If you export a TCX file from Polar Flow and upload that it should be calculating rTSS. If you are exporting an XML file from Polar Fitness (I think that is what it is called) that won't work.

Thanks for your help.I export the run as an .hrm file from Polar Protrainer 5. It has always uploaded fine, into both Beta and Classic. About 2 months ago it stopped loading as a run file into Beta, but instead would revert to 'Untitled Exercise' and calculate TSS based off HR. However, if I delete the exercise, go into Classic and upload it there it uploads fine as a run file, and shows me rTSS. Not the end of the world, but frustrating. It would become the end of the world if Classic was phased out and I therefore couldn't upload run files. Well, maybe not the end of the world, but the end of my relationship with Training Peaks, which would be a shame as I like it!

Is the Web app part of the beta release? The ability to review basically all my metrics from the quick app is worth the $$ alone. Maybe I'm just easily entertained

The web app is/was the beta. The mobile apps are not in beta.

In the new trainingpeaks is it possible to export all the data to a CSV or any local file? This option is available in the classic but I can't seem to find it in beta.

You need to access the Classic version to export your data. Simply click on your name when logged in and select Switch To Classic and it will take you there.

Anyone else seen this issue using Chrome on a Mac? The calendar is all the way to the right. It doesn't happen using Safari. Also works fine using Chrome on a PC.

That's interesting. Is that an odd shaped screen capture or a really wide screen? Regardless I'd contact them.

It's really wide. That's the problem. The actual calendar part is completely right off the right edge of where it should normally be. I'll contact support. Just thought I'd ask here first.

Support responded pretty quick. For some reason my Chrome wasn't updating. Got that fixed and the latest version works.

Hi Rodney

I classic view I can have a separate dashboard for S, B and R. I don't seem to be able to do this in the new app. Is this functionality no longer available ?

thanks

You can have separate charts for all types of activities. Drag the chart type into the dashboard and then click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to adjust the parameters for the chart.

thanks, that is what I was doing. But in the classic version you could have one page with swim, one with bike, one with run rather than one big page with them all even if each chart is separate.

Gotcha! I know additional calendars are on the roadmap but I'm not sure about additional dashboards but I'll try and find out.

Do you know if the ability to import a plan is in the works ? I mean for a self coached athlete not wanting to buy a TP plan.
Dragging and dropping one workout at a time is a PITA.
Import of a CSV file would be great.

Nothing that I know of. You can create a week and then copy and paste the week over and over and then just make edits to time/efforts. Or create the workouts and save them in your workout library and drag and drop them.

So how do I use ATP now to create a training plan. It doesn't seem to exist in the new version. When I try and revert back to Classic - it simply opens a new window with the new version in.

Also being unable to select equipment choice in the mobile app is just, well, baffling.
