Sanders' output for the first half is going to be absurd and probably suicidal

Splits on leader board seem off, but looks like Jordan is about 4 1/2 or so back of the leaders, so just about where he ought to be. Well ahead of the other hammerheads that have to put the pedal to the metal, but close enough to get a taste of that lead group by 80 miles if he can group up with a couple like minded riders.

Is that how far back she was last year, or does Rinny normally swim better than that? Can't remember where she was in T1 last year.

Ryf seems to be the only one wearing her number on the bike. Wonder how much time the flappy number costs?

Rinny 6min down out of the swim.

For those who have a better grip on Kona, any chance Ryf can get this gap on Rinny up to 20 minutes?

Potts looks huge on that bike. Hope he comes off the bike fairly close.

Last year Rinny was 14min down out of T2 and she ran 16min faster. The big question will be....what's the gap at the start of the run and can Ryf hold her off. It'll be thrilling!

The time he lost will nearly be made up by the fact he's upgrading from the QR to a Shiv. Joking...sort of.

My struggle with the coverage, why not have the motos go back and forth to visibly show the distance of Frodo and Potts? So many times this could happen to provide better prospective.

It looked like it. I can envision laying the bike down on that turn and having it injure his right arm (as discussed) and snapping his aero basebar.

Keinle is plowing through the field, should be up to potts in a few miles. Andy has to make a decision at that point, get pulled up to frodo, or get dropped and wait for the lead group. His gap to the lead is not that big right now, so i would take the pull to the front at least and then see how the pace goes from there when the two germans start the fight for first german!!

The gps leaderboard is doing a pretty good job at this. It's got Frodo up by a little more than 1 minute and Keinle right on top of Potts
