i’d prefer the 35oz personally. it would be nice to have two options, but i’m sure due to costs of development one size will have to be picked.

The product is in development - we have not made the decision to move forward yet.

You may not have the answer yet since it's in development but would the integrated hydration be retrofitted to the current model if I bought one now and then upgraded later?

Yes - definitely. All upgrades to the Tactical will be designed to fit each generation.

As an example - The athletes that purchased the 1.0 can easily swap out the Shimano BB for the new - ceramic BB, ceramic pulleys and the tilt kit which were standard specification on the 2.0.

We will make sure that every generation can be upgraded so athletes have the newest version items available and easily fitted any time a new part is available.

im curious if there has been any aero testing with a bottle mounted to the top tube where the bento normally goes.

it seems the area is protected pretty well.

im not entirely sure ill be using a bento box from here out as it seems i dont really need one. however for a longer race it would be a nice spot to hold some fluids.

I have not done testing with the bottle mounted there.

My solution to mounting my Garmin 510. This will be in conjunction with frame mounted water bottles. That mount is a modified Barfly and a Dinotte mount clamp.

I may have missed it in the pages here, but what’s the max size tires that fit? Will a 28mm fit?

I am looking to pull the trigger and should be a medium. A lot of bikes I see have the seat pressed all the way or near the front. Should I go with a small?

The effective seat tube angle should not determine your frame size. That range is 73-82 degrees. Many bikes you see are on the very steep side.

If you would like to PM with your stack and reach I can go through the size evaluation with you.

Hey All,

Any issues mounting the Primer Tac 2.0 to a 2018 Wahoo’s Kicker trainer? Is it compatible?

Thanks

James -

Can't answer your exact question, but the Tactical does fit on the Gen 1 KICKR. I believe the Gen 2 and Core only have better clearance in general, but someone may chime in to confirm or Dan may have confirmation.

Just ordered the Kickr Core which should arrive in 2 weeks. I will update once I have it mounted but I don’t expect any issues.

Hey Dan, a few hundred comments up you were showing some different paint schemes. Are you going to be offering more paint options for the Tactical?

Nothing new (still have black bikes with either red, blue or red decals) all with black decal wheels. We did add a pink option on XS :-)

I see the XS on the facebook group, looking great.

Are you considering including instructions on how to install 700c latex tubes into 650c wheels?

We are including normal tubes with the 650's on the bike. I will see if there is a consensus on Latex 700's folded for 650.

I'm not too familiar with that technique.

Hi dan,

Sorry if this has been discussed:

Size small,

-what size crank arm, is the upgrade pioneer power?

-what is the fc? Is it still variable with your fork.

-is 705mm absolute max seat height? We have a dash saddle and that typically sits 10mm high.

-tilt kit, case, 11-15 derailleur, disc and front wheel still stock? Says so on site but double checking.

-to Canada is it shipped by USPS or private courier?

Thanks,
Maurice

Crank on the Size Small is 165 R8000 52/36

All the bikes have the variable FC (3.24 mm) FC is just about 597 - 600

We can always swap out for a longer seat post (MD) gives you another 50 mm.

Tilt kit, ceramic BB and rear ceramic 11/15 come with the bike. The Single or dual Pioneer and case can be added.

We ship Fed X ground to Canada.

Has anyone put a Torhans Aero 30 on the Premier? I was thinking about getting their bundle with the BentoX, Aero30 and VR mount.
