Honest question, what is a good Canadian beer?

Our "national beers" are terrible, no different than any of the large breweries who sell their beer over long distances. Our best beers are also like in America, the micro-brewed beers.

One of the reasons many people in the past said our beer was stronger was simply due to the fact that we measure alcohol by volume and you measure it by weight.

Either way, both countries best beer is the locally brewed beer where they only sell in a small geographic area (so they don't have to add preservatives).

Almost anything that's not Labatt or Molson. We have a thriving microbrew industry up here that is very regional.

Every 'national' beer is literally over rated to the point of being fantastic.

While I do agree it still breaks my heart every time I see the Bud sign in center field of the Sky Dome. There was a time when no Canadian would be caught dead drinking an American beer, now when I go to the beer store all I see is people with cases of Coors Light, my god I'd rather drink warm bath water, would love to see that Bud sign taken down and Labatt put back up but that's a Canadian thing and not taste, I try a different craft brew every week, this week it's Trailer Park Boy's lager,

I remember years ago walking into a bar with some friends. I asked the bar maid "what kind of beer do you serve here". Her response was "we serve both kinds, Molson and LaBatt." We immediately walked out of the place.

The US is 0 for 1 in trying to invade Canada but you're welcome to try again at any time. Just realize that when we win again we will be enforcing certain conditions on your country:

1) Justin Bieber is yours. Keep him.
2) Nickelback is yours, keep them too.
3) Ryan Reynolds is ours.
4) The new ambassador to the US will be BLeP. God help you all.

The National Guard is 3X bigger than your active and reserves combined. I like our odds.

Actually there was a military computer analysis done about 6 years ago that indicated Canada could pose a serious threat to the US. One of the simulations showed that if Canada launched a pincer attack down the West Coast through Seattle and down the East Coast through Vermont, they would quickly advance on each front to Los Angeles and Baltimore, respectively. After that point things would bog down for the Canadian forces as in moving east on the western front, and moving west and south on the eastern front, they would encounter populations that did not view them as liberators.

We don't have enough landing crafts for d-day style. But we can summon enough pleasure boats for Dunkirk in reverse landing. And just you wait for our BC yoga paratroopers...in's gonna be yuuuge
