Actually I think that because our e-peens will be on the line a lot of us will be in a deep dark place of hurt defending it.

I rode the course (most of it) this weekend and all I can say is pray the wind isn't like it was this weekend. We had 25mph wind with gusts up to 36mph. The cross wind was brutal and the head wind was obviously horrible. The only nice thing was having a tail wind for the "rollers" on free Church Rd. For most of the ride there is nothing but corn and bean fields. Also be ready to doge a few big potholes. I am getting excited to see this race go down.

As far as potholes...if I have to fill them myself we are going to do our best to get the situation taken care of. Some of the roads did not winter so well. Harlem / Caledonia is supposed to be resurfaced in the next couple weeks - before the race. I am going to try to get on the course tonight and paint markings on all the corners as well as indicate some of the pot holes.


All in all - what did you think?
