Well if Keinle is doing all the work in the chase, Frodo is doing all the work in the lead group, haven't seen him sit on once, and swimming side by side, silly..

Swimming side by side with his training partner and apparently killing the pace. Guess they want to get away from sanders & keinle

It may just be that Jan wants to put the hurt onto the strong bikers and runners...or he's just confident the hard swim won't hurt him that bad. the mind of a champ...

Well that is the thing, they are buddies and training partners, if they want increase the gap, take turns at the front and up the pace. This makes no sense to give the guys behind even more of a draft too. Now two wide with a steady pace to just sit on..

And it’s working. While they haven’t given us a split, looks like the sanders/keinle group are pretty far back.

So what is josh going to swim? Wow!

And sanders and Kienle not looking good if the coverage is correct.

Did a quick count and seems like he's holding 1:15/100m which would be around 47/48

I assume you're counting strokes/min??? But how do you then get to time/distance??? Can't see how that could work.

No I was going by time vs the distance that commentators were saying, however it was obvious by the turnaround that they were off before.

Ah I see now, thanks!!!

Jan and Nick are smashing it and so is Josh. I wish the announcer would shut up about questioning what Josh is doing. He knows his swim and this is deliberate; not just a rookie mistake. I'm happy to see him out there pushing the pace. Jan and Nick are really putting time in to Sebi and Lionel. I do hope Lionel works with Sebi. I know he is all about not taking a tow and I'm not saying he should at all, but they both should take advantage of the savings they can provide within limit of the draft rules. They need each other.

Can't wait to see Cam start smashing the bike too. I have a feeling we are going to see some people dig deeper then we've seen in a long time. Today is going to be fast.

I agree and I actually like to see that from Josh... This could change some dynamics of the race if somebody gets desperate back there and starts surging too much on the early miles of the bike.

Also sounded like Lange was was with Frodo on the swim.... that would make it very very interesting.

Hard to believe they missed that. Since they showed the women's AG start I don't think they planned to not show it.

So crazy that Jan has a training partner / buddy to work with like that... As if he needed an extra Ace / comfort! That's just impressive and speaks to his total attention to the details.

Monster swims today! Kudos to Lucy and Lauren.

I've decided that today the course record will fall. Just have that feeling. Too many guns pushing each other.

They caught right up to that big group, so potentially chicked from 5 mins back!
