Racing but just back from injury so that's why I don't have him in the mix....otherwise I might have slotted him 2nd :)

Bike crash. He posted some crazy on Twitter that looked pretty bad. Surprised to see him racing.

Will be fun to see Hanson vs. Sanders on the run if they come off the bike close to each other.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of swim fitness Sanders has gained over the winter. Last year, coming out of the water 3-4 min back he was able to win most races. If he can make a 2nd or even 3rd chase pack it'll be quite the change from the past.

It was cool to see his race from last out of the water to nearly making the podium first hand at Tremblant in September. It's hard to imagine his running getting much quicker, but he can make solid gains on the swim and a little bit on the bike.

1. His blog posts would indicate that his swimming is much improved over last season
2. Last month there was a thread here discussing some downright nasty bike metrics up Lemmon!
3. IF is run fitness is at the very least what it was last September ?!?.......... ...then sweet jesus have mercy on the field:)

I'm thinking pretty much the same podiums. I'd have Frodeno in there if he wasn't coming back from injury. Last blog post from Jesse Thomas seems to indicate he's not 100% ready either. But I'd be very interested in seeing a solid duel between Sanders and McMahon. Should be a very good race.

Really though, I'm mainly waiting for Trevor's race recap video.

Just want to get this in now....I predict The Colonel will win every race he enters this year, including Kona.

has anyone got video coverage working? ironman says coverage starts at 1:30 edt....a bit late in my mind

~4:15 back today. Not insurmountable, but going to be tough given who is in front.

Great field of pros and no coverage. These are the kind of races WTC should be capitalizing on....and yet, nothing.

Frodeno with Potts, McMahon, Belaubre a minute up after 12 miles. Looks like he's OK. Sanders 3:06 back so he's on pace to catch them by the end of the bike.

The Colonel had unbelievable development last season. Most improved athlete of the year without question. But to think he'll go undefeated this year is ludicrous. I'd happily put a wager down on that.
