All good, I don't mind the discussion, its just that every single new bike that ever comes out ends up being compared to the P4.... :)

That's because the only thing wrong with the P4 is the rear brake and lack of trash can :)

It was so good that they stopped making it, and no other manufacturer has bothered to copy the geo.... ;)

It will be interesting to see how you access the bento's cargo. That seems to be a deal killer with many of the plastic/rubber bentos.

But you know what is even more crazy? That PRsix bento looks like one of our universal fit Speedpack 480 bentos. Which is fine, as they are quite aero, and fit many many bikes on the market. What is odd to me is that if they took the time and resources to make a custom bento for a specific bike, they really could have done much much more with the storage.

Advanced Aero TopTube Storage for Road, Gravel, & Tri...ZeroSlip & Direct-mount, made in the USA.

For the price, I don't understand why the PRsix isn't more popular than it is. If my old P3c ever bites the dust, this would be at or near the top of my list.

I agree! I love the look and ease of this bike. If I were in the market for a new one, or should I say if I could afford one, I would look at the PR6 for sure.

I'll tell you why. It's because the truth is, its really no more 'exciting' a bike than a Cervelo P2.

I think it is a bit "sexier" than a p2 just with the colors. But if I could build a bike from ground up I would probably go with a P3 with Di2, fast aerobars and call it a day. But I do like all the integration of stuff with the PR6. The draft box is nice.

you know that this bike has a light saber, right? and that it is the only bike that does?

You're thinking of the PR Sith.

That's exactly what makes it sexy.

Opinions are cool like that.

TriSports prices range from $4500 for frameset/$5000 for Ultegra, up to $8650 for Ultegra Di2 Race.

Out of curiosity, whem/why did manufacturers decide they don't want to sell framesets anymore? $500 for a set of decent training wheels, a carbon cockpit, a $150 saddle, oh and an unused Ultegra group seems like a no brainer. I can't really imagine a situation where spending the extra $500 isn't worth it except if you live in a tiny house (even then, maybe).

I would think if I were a manufacturer, I would prefer to sell framesets over complete bikes, but I must be missing something here. Help?

I need to work out how to ship to Oz, but this will be my 'out of retirement' bike. Reminds me of the 2007/8 Lucero.

I'm really liking the PRsix. Does anyone know of any aero data comparing it to the Felt IA? All I can find on QR's website compared it to the Felt DA.

Thoughts on the front end? Trying to find some detailed images online of the install process, etc. but not seeing much.

I saw yesterday online that a few f the pros at IMTX today will be rocking a new front end bento box. The new one zips closed (can zip from either end) but not sure what the material was.

I am also in the "Id like to be lower" camp but overall I love the bike. Got a good price, feel very comfortable, clean and very versatile.

Anyone have an idea of how the stem works? Like how are the wires, etc routed? Considering picking up one of these but it's a no-go if this must-use stem is going to leave cables sloppily exposed.

Did anyone find anything comparing the Felt IA4 or DA to the 2017 PRsix?? I had a Felt DA. I'm currently riding a Felt IA4. I just purchased the PR6 Di2 Race. It's in a box about to be built. It was such a good deal I couldn't turn it down. I do need to sell a bike though! If anyone has any comparison data I would love to see it, hoping it reads the way I want it to of course!

In the original pr6 white paper, you can see see the pr6 is about 1/3 of the way between a shiv and p5-six.

Overlay that with the felt ia data, and the original pr6 is probably about 60-70g slower at 0 degrees.
