Hi Tracy,

It was the (S) Riviera Tri Tops (both sleeveless and with sleeves) that I tried. Again, the problem with it was the waist part - I could not put it together to zip. I now have the (M) Riviera Jersey and it fits ok, although a little loose on the chest, I must say. I love it that I even use it as a regular cycling jersey.

Thanks.

Hi Emilio. I've included numbers above. I have a muscular build with a long-ish torso.

For reference I have several pairs of your shorts, all medium and they fit well. I don't have any jerseys but do have a Tri kit which is also medium. I imagine you would recommend a medium but I was concerned about the jersey being a club fit. I can't stand jerseys that aren't snug, so didn't know if a small would be better.

Go with medium for the 400-Mile Bibshort, as for the jersey, if you want it really snug, get a small, as this is a club fit.

Will there be an option to exchange if we order the wrong size?

I placed my order for a medium jersey earlier today and am now totally confused after reading this thread.

I'm 5'10", 146 lbs. 15.5" neck, 40" chest and 31" waist. What size would you recommend and will exchanges be available?

If not, who can I contact in the event I want to change my order?

Thanks!

Todd

We are very easy to get in touch with. You can email me at emilio@desotosport.com or you can call and speak with one of my customer service staff: 800-453-6673.

As for your sizing, if you are 5 10 146 and you are sure you have a 40 chest I would suggest medium. We are making these to order only and at this sort of discount, exchanges will not be available.

Hi Emilio --

I'm 6'3" and 205 lbs. My waist is 38" or a little less and my chest is 45". I have broad shoulders, kind of a muscular build.

I don't know what my hip measurement is right off the top of my head, but I'm fairly thin through that region.

Which sizes for bibs/jersey would I be looking at?

Thanks!

Thanks for asking. With the limited information you have sent I beiieve you will be LARGE IN THE JERSEY, and probably LARGE IN THE BIBSHORT, but if you want a more accurate recommendation, Please email me the following or post here, whichever you prefer:

HEIGHT
WEIGHT
CHEST (measured as the largest part of circumference)
WAIST (circumference measured at the belly-button line)
HIPS (circumference measured at the widest point, not just at your hips. typically this will measure just a few inches below your hips bones and around the largest part of the glutes)

Also any additional information that you know about your body type that you think might be important for me to know. Some memorable, yet helpful ones I have received include:

"I have a long torso"
"I have a bucket like J-LO"
"I have large thighs like a track cyclist"
"I have a classic pear-shape body, but I can't help it."
"I grew up swimming and my shoulders are very broad"
"A lot of my weight is in my beer belly, but I am training to get rid of it"

With this info I can recommend with almost perfect accuracy

Hey Emilio,

I noticed the backorder notice shows a delivery in August, is that an accurate date?

Thanks!

Go with Large for the Bibshort and the Jersey.

For the Jersey I would suggest XL given your description and measurements.

For the Bibshort, "fairly thin" is relative, so you I would guess XL too just based on your weight. But you may be a LARGE, depending on how thin you are there.

EDS,

We need a "Like" button!

Sizing? - I'm all over the map with other brands, and by no means normal. Depending on the brand it can be anywhere from a Small to a Large!

6'2" + 158 lbs = "skinny"
Very long torso

Thanks for your order. Yes, that is what the OP states, what the product descriptions state, and what the backorder notice states.

Hi Emilio,

2 questions.

1. Does free shipping to the US include Hawaii. I tried going through checkout with just the jersey and the 30% discount was applied, but shipping was still tacked on.

2. Would it be possible to order the De Soto/ST jersey and combine it with a normal 400 mile bib short and still get the discount for the kit? Or just 30% off for both the jersey and the bib. I like the design of the bib...just that I'd like to use the bib with more than one jersey and all black would match anything I have.

Thanks. I have enjoyed your products thus far.

1. Sorry if this was not more clear, but we always offer free shipping within the USA, including Alaska and Hawaii, on all orders over $125.00. So the entire kit (which is the Jersey AND the Bibshort) qualifies for free shipping since it is over $125, but the jersey alone, at the 30% discount, is less than $125, so it does not qualify for free shipping.

2. Out of the fear of opening a Pandora's Box, I am forced to say no. If I agreed to doing this, you can only imagine the emails, PM's, and posts asking for 30% off stuff completely unrelated to the special offer of the original post. If there is any consolation there is some good news. If you do order the jersey at 30% off, and the 400-Mile Bibshort that you want, you will qualify for free shipping on those two pieces. We will send the Bibshort immediately to you and the Jersey later, both freight free.

I hope you will consider order it. It is truly a great quality garment and it is a one time offer. We will never make these again. I can tell you and the rest of the forum, that as of tonight, everyone who orders will be one of fewer than 100 people in the world to own this jersey and/or the entire kit.
