Ha.....I saw 8 views and no replies. I had the damnest time trying to get people to answer that question.

Do you see that little icon (should be above the word "people" in my post) that looks like a mountain in a picture frame? Click on it and it will ask you to type in a web address. The problem is, your picture has to be on a web server. Simple, upload it on www.tinypic.com.

I'm ending up with the picture so huge, that one has to use a slider on the side and bottom to look at the whole thing. How can I size it so that it fits?

hi there: thanks for your advice. as i use a mac i don't see the tool bar, or any, when i open the forum. do you know if typing in the code would work as well?

The picture you upload needs to be smaller. You can size it in photoshop (image - image size) and maybe MS office picture manager. Ideally you want a pic that's smallish (less than a couple hundred kb) so that it loads quickly too.

It should still work in a mac (I assume)... try using a different web browser.

You can also use a free tool from Microsoft called Image Resizer, it's part of a set of tools which can be downloaded here...

To resize, one can also go to "My Pictures", open the pic, right click or use the tool bar and then "stretch/skew" where you can reduce the pic by a certain %. Can also use "attributes". Then "save as" (or maybe "copy to"), give it a new name. Go to tinypic.com, click browse, then "recent", double click the file then upload. Then copy and paste the "forum" url beyond the "http://" and paste after clicking the mountain box. Et voila.
