Problem is, that's not the way most road races work. The question is whether you would have saved 5-15 seconds in a quarter mile. I doubt it.

New Polar CS200 - had it on my Vortex as well: really like it (HR, Cadence if you want, speed & distance all on one screen. Comes with stem mount too that I also like.

Caleb - I know how road races work, thanks ... I was joking. The only thing a Soloist has over a typical road race rig is better aerodynamics. If it's 25% bike (with most of that wheels) and 75% rider/position causing drag (6-7 lbs or whatever you want to estimate), I'll assume the frame at about 8% based on Treks, Softrides and Cervelo's data. Now I've got 8% less drag on a long solo breakaway. Other than that, it is super stiff, light, comfy and fits me well.

Wow, very observant! Yes, there is a small "secret" access panel to get to the plumping through the woodwork (pipe cleanout) since this is my basement. Also, there is an extra piece on the wall (hemp/rice paper covering) where the dartboard hangs for, ah, protection for ill-thrown shots :)

Boy, you guys don't miss a thing! Can believe no one saw that my front brake line was not capped yet ;)
