First things first: seat height is perfect. And no, I did not shoot this in a bar, this is my basement (bar with brass foot rest).
Well, after riding about 20 bikes (road) and waiting 6 months, she is finally in! Found a few around the globe online, but wanted to do the right think and support my LBS.
3 rides so far and AWESOME! I can see why this was voted bike of the year (although I typically hate buying things like that). Previous bike was a Litespeed Vortex that I really liked - this thing is super stiff. I expected the BB stiffness based on reviews and my previous test ride (3 months ago!), but the front end is where I noticed it the most. 15.8 lbs with computer, pedals, cages, etc. Really wierd riding this back to back with my tri bike (Guru Cron'Alu). Makes a really cool "whistling" noise over 35 mph downhill from the front end with my chin on the bar.
Maiden road race is next weekend. Maiden tri is the DeSoto TripleT and I'm considering it for IMLP this year. Last weeks road race was an uphill sprint finish and 2nd through 19th was separated by about 15 secs. I'd like to think this thing would have at least given me 5 secs over 40 miles!
