How close are you to posting pictures of your Andean?

I need to do an article detailing it, but for now, lots of pics on iCloud (I posted the link on page 1): https://www.icloud.com/...lbum/#B0i53qWtHXTK5E

I posted earlier, but not sure if you saw it.

Is sram ok with 140mm brake rotors on the front for road use?

As far as I know. They didn't object to my wanting to do it in any way. The 160mm on the front is more, as I understand it, the UCI wanting a set size for consistency with regards to neutral support wheels.

I have a couple 160mm rotors and were I to race on a hilly course, I'd probably put it on. With that said, I live in a pretty hilly area and have never felt I needed more than 140s. I'm getting a Podium Disc - so I can have disc brakes on my road bike for consistency - and will try a 160mm on the front with that to see if I like it better.

Triathlon rarely has the really long descents that you can see with road races, which is why I decided to go with 140 from the outset.

Good to know.

If you can, let us know as the season progresses, your feedback on the front rotor size. And especially if you ever take the bike on any longish and technical descents, I would be interested to learn more.

Thanks.

Interesting shootout on the Dimond Brilliant, DB Andean and Cervelo P5X by UK leading tri magazine 220triathlon. Interesting read and even more curious at the results of the Kiley shootout.

I wanted to adjust my pad height by changing riser height (the HED Corsair doesn't allow that)

Why does this myth persist?

The HED Corsair does allow that.

I ran these with the bridge on my Corsairs. Allowed for a greater range of adjustment
