I had no idea where to seed myself. I decided to 'rough it' at the front. I started ankle-deep about 20 yards to the right of the buoy line. I didn't get much thrashing other than someone actually grabbing my leg. I doubt his goggles stayed on as I madly kicked and felt something hard against my heel. :-) The best was hearing Mike as I ran through to the second lap, "... from Laguna Niguel, California. And he's 50 years old!" I then knew I was leading the swim in my AG. My one claim to fame in the race.

Maybe one time next year we can arrange a small ST meeting here in Chattanooga, possibly around the Waterfront Triathlon. A good triathlon, lots of nice riding terrain, a very scenic downtown and of course a very unique factory tour. :-)
