I think jokes should be in the other forum....but you all can laugh at my feeble attempt at trying to keep up with some fast XTERRA guys this weekend. I crashed 6 times in 2.5 hours. have a torn up rib cage, brused and cut up legs....and a horribly beaten ego!

First race is in 5 days as well!

I felt the same way! Watching the pros...they just flow through corners rarely touching their brakes. I could probably do it without crashing, though they'd be measuring my finish time in days, not minutes or hours.

So....anywho......

I'm gonna make boneless pork chops tonight for dinner. How should I do 'em?

I could coat them in egg, bread crumbs and parmigiano and pan-fry them in a little olive oil

or

use this thing I saw on foodtv.com where you coat them in dijon mustard and bread crumbs and place them on an inverted rack and cook in the oven under the broiler. They call it "air-fry" and i guess it would be healthier.

id try the oven thing. i like dijon though. last week i grilled shark marinated in dijon, garlic, olive oil, and soy sauce. it was great,i think i will add something a little spicy next time though, to accent the sugar in the soy sauce.


now.. in the napa half i got the wind knocked out of my on the swim by some girl who decided to beeline toward the shore. she punched me in the ribs, swam over me, and kept going. guy on the kayak saw it, came over and asked if i needed help. so pretty much, i got beat up by a girl, who was lost, in the water. i'm a sorry excuse for a man.
