This makes me think that we are going back to the future. A contract before sex, I believe that used to be marriage. My daughter is going off to university. If she wants a walk home after dark they provide an escort (one male and female as a team). I'm quite happy about that. I met young man who got disciplined by his university for having a consensual relationship with a student one year younger than him because he was the residence "don". He was second year she was first. Next thing you know they will have all female and all male residences again.

I'm not sure what a Don is, is that like an RA? If so, no wonder. If he's in a position of authority or potential authority over her, he shouldn't be dating her. They probably go over that in the intro. to being a Don orientation. I doubt the issue was the age difference. If they wanted to date one or the other should be reassigned so there is no potential conflict of interest.

Under what pretenses would a school have the authority to discipline students because of an age difference when dating?

That's cool. More for me and Duffy, who actually know how to read women, unlike all ya'll fumbling creepers.

Oh, and balls. It takes balls to ask someone you just met if they want to have sex with you.

Be prepared to be rejected and don’t let that get you down.

When I was single I would pick up chicks by simply just asking them if they wanted to fuck.

Talk to them for a bit (at a coffee shop or wherever) and then when that awkward moment of silence comes I’d just say, “so, do you want to come over to my house and fuck around?”

If they said no, that was it. If they said yes, we’d go.

Simple.
When I was much, much younger, a friend of a friend would sometimes come out to clubs/pubs with us and he would try this and would often score.
Later in the night he would walk up the hottest woman he could find that seemed to be alone (or with girlfriends) and simply say, " So, are you ready to leave now?,and we would always be amazed just how many of the most beautiful women you had even seen would walk out with him.

Also had another mate who would only go out every second thursday night at his local club when the government would pay the single mothers pension payments.
He always went for the fat single mothers as he said they were always a sure bet and they would do whatever he wanted as they were desperate to get fucked and try and score themselves a man/father for their kids.

Sadly, I never had the balls for approach 1, and thankfully I was never desperate enough to try approach 2!

When I was in the Navy, one of sailors working for me asked a girl for a dance at a club we were at in San Diego. She said no, so he then asked "I guess a %@# job is out of the question?". The girl gave him a funny look and then dragged him out of the club for about 15 minutes. He returned and said to the table "I need to reply that way more often!"

True story, or as we said in the Navy, this is no bull%$&#!

Just responding to Duffy because he always has entertaining responses and responding to this thread because it's sort of related.

I don't know if it's me or if society has just collectively lost its mind. The last four girls I dated:

1. Insurance agent. She played the nice girl/potential trophy wife card well. Dumped me for her "ex-boyfriend" who turned out to be a real estate developer in his 50s. She was 27... but I'm sure it was love. Ironically, I'm probably wealthier than him lol.
2. A swimmer/personal trainer who kept asking me weird questions like "if you were to jump on the moon would you just float off into space?" On the first date I thought she was just nervous and trying to be funny but by the third date I realized she was just really really dumb. I had to break it off after about a month.
3. A doctor who was extremely demanding (which I sort of expected), had an awesome dog (Husky Malamute mix), and had some really weird sexual fetishes. She was super into public sex which started off as just sex in public areas but then she wanted to escalate things in ways I wasn't ok with. She also always complained about money which I think is distasteful when you first start dating.... and to be honest she was very well payed but she just had no clue of how to live within her means. I miss her dog :(
4. Pharmacist who showed up to dinner, downed four Cosmopolitans over the course of dinner, said she was going to the bathroom, and then left while I was getting the check (apparently she didn't go to the bathroom, the waiter said she just walked out).

1. She’ll make a good side piece when she just can’t stand banging her disgusting husband anymore and wants some real dick.

Try to keep in touch with her.

2. Keeper.

3. Did she want to have strangers watch you while you guys had sex? I knew a girl that was into that. Probably best to stay away unless that’s your thing. Seems kind of dangerous to me.

Umm, you say in the past parent's did not talk to their kids what is acceptable and what not?
Was it ever acceptable to let a guy grope a women's ass, masturbate in front of her, threaten/execute physical/sexual violence?

Look at all these "aspiring actors" who took the hush money / job, and did not take these incidents to the authorities, where they were prosecutable then and now.
And they just now appear out of the woods as there is blood in the water and more money/fame to gain.
That is so plain obvious every Teenager gets it.

The message sent NOW is:

You can turn any sexual interaction against anybody, anytime, regardless of the circumstances. Whenever. wherever.

With more and more Women / LGBT in positions of Power, that can and will also swing the other way (in some cases it already does).

I consider that kind of 'lesson' to be problematic, as it weaponizes sexual interactions way beyond what is socially beneficial.

It IS the nuclear option.

I don't know which parent spoke to what kid, do you? Today this problem is on the front page of ever social media feed. Was it like this 10 years ago? 5 years ago? Not bloody likely. Like I said I hope that ALL people would take the time to talk to their kids, boys and girls. That opinion has not changed.

Yeah, they're all really hitting the jackpot now.

Sure, anything's possible But in my experience it's very, very unlikely if you're not an actual rapid, perv, creeper, or douchbag. Maybe a bit more likely if you're super rich or in a position of power. But even then women, generally speaking, don't *like* to play victims. It's humiliating, and they're vilified for it (like you're vilifying them for speaking out).

I think you have a bit of hangup about women. I called it from the OP.

Or maybe I'm just lucky, never having had a women lie about a sexual interaction with me in an attempt to "weaponize" the experience. Even in relationships that ended poorly. And even with some batshit crazy women.

But let us know how it goes!

I lost all respect for #1 and realized I dodged a bullet

#2 was really really hot but just too dumb man.

Bingo on #3

It started with her wanting to go to bars and have other women hit on me and then me go home with her. Then she wanted to go to a bar and have guys hit on her and I'd have to fight them off. Then she proposed going to a swingers club and having sex in front of a lot strangers on a stage.... it goes on. Some of her fantasies definitely veered into the dangerous category. Based on how she described her childhood (her parents didn't pay any attention to her and she became an over-achiever in an attempt to get them to notice her) I'd say she has validation issues.

I hear you. My long time girlfriend (the one before I got permanent with Mrs. Duffy) sort of did something similar, except it wasn’t her ex she left for. But she did “move up” re: her man’s income scale. I still run into her now and then and still enjoy talking to her. She regrets her decisions. I don’t. She didn’t age well. Italian.

Ha. Just joking. I was set up once with a hot dumb dumb. She was smoking hot but so damn dumb I couldn’t even get myself to fuck her once. She was really dumb.

That’s not exactly what I was thinking but what you describe is not something that is likely to turn out well in the long run.

There’s a fetish where people get off on having sex in front of strangers. They never actually get physical with the other people (obstensibly) they just let others watch.

They might place an ad on craigslist and just invite whomever reads the ad to show up at a certain location for the free show. Or just do it at a club, bar, concert, beach, etc...

Fortunately for these people there are plenty who just like to watch....

I hear that. Parents of both sexes have to wise up and make sure their kids understand what could happen. I had a member of my family raped 5 years ago. The asshole spent a night and jail and then walked because the victim went to the hospital days after the rape. She was in shock but she was raped. She eventually had to leave the state because he kept showing up at places she frequented. So much for our legal system.
