For those who didn't get to read all the various comments and replies - it turns out that this driver (as usual) had two prior DUIs, one of which was a hit and run. She was obviously trying to get away which explains her horrible conduct in continuing on from the scene. She will probably get her license suspended for six months and a $3000 fine or some other obscene sentence. WTF is she doing with a license after a hit and run.
That is amongst the most heinous motoring crimes.
Surely a lengthy ban and maybe jail time beckons and a decent civil suit.
It's about time there was a global safe cycling get day organised.
All around the world cyclists have become roadkill with very little protection from police.
Any excuse and the look to absolve the driver from blame see below..
