For those of you who have the Di2 specific frame, do you know if it's possible to do the entire wiring internally?
Also, where do people mount their batteries? And i presume i could also get the internally mounted battery?
Finally, has anyone here managed to put the junction box inside a flat stem?
Just in case you don't get a response from someone who has a Di2 version (I don't) …. there are two Di2 frames. The TT frame and also the Premium frame set up (slightly) more for Di2. The TT frame is internal wiring. The Di2 Plasma frame is not. One of the cable holes on the right of the Premium Di2 frame is blocked, the wiring enters the hole on the other side of the frame where the standard cables go on a non Di2 version (see image below). It is possible to wire internally, others have, but it requires custom drilling to route through the stem area and preferably a TT stem and Di2 compatible bar so you can hide the cables all the way from the shifters.
A battery placement and junction box placement (tied under stem) option are below (snatched from elsewhere on this thread). The other Di2 guys on here have been helpful with info so check out their pics and maybe flip them a PM.
I initially thought that another option would be the TriRig stem, which also has a junction box placement, but it doesn;t really work on the Plasma … someone tried and it looked a bit hokey and stuck up from the frame.
