I've been trying to learn how to perform a 2-beat kick now for some months, because I felt that it would give me a more balanced stroke than the 4-beat that I seem to prefer.
The thing is that I'm faster still with the 4-beat and when I try to go hard with the 2-beat I totally loose control and my legs just twitch spasm-like.
Are there fast swimmers out there that use a four-beat or should I work harder on improving my 2- and 6-beat?
