In a few years, my wife and I will be looking for a new city in Canada to live. So far, I've lived in various cities in Ontario, Vancouver, a little time in Victoria, and now Calgary. I would have been surprised in saying this before, but I believe Calgary has been the best place to train so far for the following reasons:
-great training facilities
-the dry climate (I never feel like I've lost half my body weight in sweat during long runs as I did in Ontario)
-it is almost always sunny here
-the mountains are near
-loads of hills/quiet roads to bike on
-it's at 1077m altitude
I don't want to be missing out of any other sweet city gems out there -- anyone else's thoughts?
