My room has the rubber stall mats (~3/4" thick) over carpet. I put a treadmill on top and when I run the back portion compresses into the rubber every footstrike. It's a visible bounce. The front part doesnt move as its 300lbs pressed into the mats. Part of me thought the cushion might be nice, part of me says there is a reason you don't see this at gyms...anyone got an opinion on the treadmill squish factor? Fix ideas?

Not a fan of excessive treadmill bounce. Listen to the part of you that says, "remove rubber mat(s)."
