New Specialized Shiv anytime?
I am bored and was curious if anyone else thinks or expects specialized will have a new bike before kona this year. Cervelo, trek, orbea, canyon, giant felt have all released something in the last 2 years.

I figure that they will incorporate the new rear brake design into their tt bike, and also include all hidden cables like their road bike and trek sc. What else do you all think they will include?

They have hinted during the Venge VIAS talk that something is coming. No idea when. If it is going to also be their triathlon bike, I would not be shocked if Kona.

I think you've probably touched on all the major points.
I expect to see the front and rear brakes from the Vias make an appearance on the new Shiv, with no exposed cabling.

I think anything else will be minor tweaks

I'd also like to see them refine the Fuelselage a little more. What they give you is barely functional and takes a lot of tweaking to get it to where it is easily usable/installable/functional/etc...

And also fix all the problems that affected some owners (seat post screw, screw for Fuelselage spinning in frame cover when not being used thus becoming all but impossible to remove, aerobaor fiasco (maybe design new ones, something like Trek's)).

On an interview with a Dutch cyclingsite, Lieuwe Westra of Astana, which ride Specialized bikes, said he got a new TT-bike from his team. He'll be riding it at the time trial this thursday at De Driedaagse Westpanne.

Could it be the new Shiv?
