Ok so I'm in the market for a power meter and have two choices.
1 - Stages for an FSA crank to go on my TT bike. Cost around $1100 NZD.
2 - Powertap laced to a set of Enve carbon wheels. Cost $1900 NZD.
I figured the powertap would be better as I could switch wheels between road and TT bikes. However my coach and LBS (unsurprisingly) say to go with the Stages as I'll mainly be training on the TT bike come summer and of course racing on it. It's also way cheaper. In fact I could get two Stages for the price of the wheels - coach says not to. Should probably stick to the coach's recommendations after all I do pay him!!
