I don't really keep in touch with Greg, but his story is pretty much he won worlds at around 2005-2006 in his mid/late 30s and then started having kids. He gave up cycling almost immediately but stuck with running for a bit. I think he won the master's division of the Philly Half Marathon when he turned 40 and then more or less disappeared from competitive racing.
Coincidentally, though he never posts on Facebook, I just saw someone tag him today finish a trail race, so I assume he's still running.
I used to run intervals with (okay, slightly behind) him about 10 years ago and then moved within a few miles of him, but have only crossed his path once every other year, or so. I probably haven't seen him in a few years now.
