Shimano pedals - blue cleats etc.
I have an issue with the blue shimano cleats.

Using them with the standard shimano R550 pedals they have an up and down play in them.
Comparing them to the yellow cleats they are lower in stack. (the height is lost in the black bit)

Are these blue cleats designed for use with the DA pedals, which have a reported slightly lower stack than the other shimano SPD SL?

I remember seeing them marketed with the DA pedals when the blue cleats first came out.

If so, has anyone tried them in both the DA and standard pedals?

Blue have a different amount of float, that's all. Less than yellow and, IIRC, more than the red no-float.

No they don't it seems, they are definitely a different height!
I have just compared 2 sets of each and the difference is 1mm in the black section.

I haven't noticed that and I'm using them with 105 and Ultegra pedals... are yours legit Shimano blues? As previously stated the only difference should be the amount of float.
