I have one of these on my mini. The install is super easy, and if I remove the 1-1/4" hitch, I replace the back up light and there is ZERO evidence that my can has a receiver hitch. Couldn't be happier

I wonder if hers has a hitch spot...

Ill check when I get home.
She seems fixed on roof though.

it doesn't need a hitch spot. You mount the receiver hitch on the back of the frame. Then depending on your model and year mini, you access that receiver differently. In my opinion, it is by far the cleanest installation for mini's

Not sure if it fits the Mini or not but I've got to imagine it can. I've got a Saris Bones RS rack and I've yet to complain about it. It's got adjustable placements or the rubber "cups", ratcheting straps, locks and it's fairly light and solid.

That looks pretty similar to the one we are using... and not too much less than the one I am looking at.

Not sure I agree. It might be nice to access our trunk too...
