Which frame is this?
Hola :D

My girlfriend has decided to start doing triathlons and have been looking for a bike. She has been trawling Google for tri bikes and felt in love with this one:

I've suggested her that it would be much easier if she just picked up a factory bike, but now she has that bike in her mind and that is the one that it should be (you know women ;) )

Well the woman want this bike, so now I am chasing the name of the frame so I can get it to her and build it up with the components she wants.. But can anyone tell me which frame it is? It looks a lot like a custom painted China/Taiwan frame to me but I dont know the name of it.

Have a great day!

Is it just colour that appeals to her? That can be done to any bike...
It's a nice frame but fairly long/low compared to some other options so it may not be wise to fixate on it until you're sure it will fit her.

Looks like a 2012 Felt B12 or B16. Maybe a little older

Well the colour is a big part of it, but she also really likes the frame it self because of its curves (bla bla bla, women :p)

But I didn't notice about the long/low before you said it.. Maybe I need to impact her to another frame 'cause she have long legs compared to her upper body. Guess a Specialized Shiv would fit her a lot more, but thats also a very different price ;)

Thanks for answering to both of you :)

If she's as hot as the bike, winner winner, chicken dinner!

The frame curve by the front wheel definitely makes this a Felt B series

That is April Gellately (sp) s tri bike. She is a total badass. http://agmultisportconsulting.com/pro-triathlete/

She doesnt have a bike sponsor so she painted it out. Its a Felt though.

The newer Felt B series (B2, 12,14) is very similar geometry to the Shiv and is good value too. So there is a decent chance she can find a frame with the nice curves that will fit.

Shiv got more stack than the B frame, about 1" as I remember.

You might be remembering the original B series (which is what the pink bike is)

Shiv and new B-Series have the same philosophy but Felt offer more sizes.

I got the B10 and after a good offer for a shiv I measured and found the same difference of about an inch.

if she wants to go for the 'girly' look, she might as well take it to the max.
