FWIW Aaron, I had the same issue as you, so I ran without the pivot cradle at first. I really couldn't recommend it at all from my experience, I bought the plugin mono shortly after, which gives you essentially unlimited adjustment, while still including the pivot cradle, and it's miles better, absolutely rock solid.
