Thanks for the posts--you all were quite kind given the nature of this bike. Thanks.
To answer some of the questions:
1. I just brought her home (took 4 months to build) so was only able to get out for 15 minutes at dusk tonight. First reaction is that the bike is very fast in a straight line. It's aero of course but I think it fits me better than my Lightspeed and I think that may be more of it. It feels solid at speed (although I only went 30 or so). It's very stiff in the BB/chain ring. It turns more quickly than my Blade so I'll have to get used to that. I'm taking it out for a 5 hour ride on Tuesday so I'll have more to say after that (unfortunately I have to head out of town in the morning).
2. I tried the Easton aerobars and they did not fit right. The vukas feel very comfortable and are a snap to dial in. They feel more narrow on the drops than my old HED but I'll have to get my ruler out to check that. I may ultimately replace the aerobar with Oval A911 as it is about 300 grams lighter but I wanted to get my position dialed in first this summer. Most of my major races are pretty flat anyways (White Lake, Eagleman, timberman, IMFL).
3. The pullies are ceramic. As are the bearings in the BB and all 3 wheels. I know there is a lot of skepticism here about ceramic bearings but my first impression is that they are insanely smooth. The disc spins down for almost 5 minutes from 30 mph.
4. I have an 808 on my LS. The Mark 1 tests out faster in the LSWT. In fact the pair of Mach 1s is almost identical to the disc/Mach 1 front pair in terms of drag.
5. I'll tighten up that SRM cable--thanks!
BTW. the funds for this bike came from a settlement with a roofing company. I was riding 2 summers ago and 3 large rolls of roofing paper fell off the back of a truck and smashed into me and my bike while I was doing intervals in my aerobars. I had a 3rd degree shoulder separation and surgery and 3 months of rehab. I also used the funds to by a new road bike too. Pics to follow.
