Is that the FD cable hanging out of the BB on the bike on the left?

Correct. But they are spec'd to almost the exact same dimensions.

Yes, I was still building the left bike when I took the photo shoot. Missing chain, pedals, etc.....

June 2010 for me as well. All things are right with it. Many miles and never a major issue aside from the occasional creak that's easily fixed with a little wrenching on the stem....I'm jealous of the new one with Di2.

You go from a small to med?

Thanks Hardidu, will take up your suggestion in my next bento box fabrication.
But might try to put the hinge inside so even cleaner.

I have finished the build.
Tried to keep it as clean & simple as possible.
Now to ride it this weekend...

I don't ride it in this set-up but installed everything on the bike for record.

Looks great!

I am usually not the one to say this but I would take the decals off the H3's. That paint deserves a more stealth look.

Yes, I did go from small to medium. I am 5'9.5" with a rather long inseam. I started with the small following my rule of thumb to always err on the small side when it comes to bike frames. I do that for my road frames but somehow the SC was different. The small twitched on me a little too much on fast downhills and I felt I needed a longer wheelbase. So after a lot of measuring and analyzing, I figured that I could replicate my exact setup on the medium but have a longer wheelbase. That made all the difference on those downhills in Keene at IMLP. I have to say though that the medium in its current 100/10 stem does not like tight turns. I might switch it back to the 100 / 45.

The Di2 is well worth the price I paid, which wasn't a lot because I got all my Di2 stuff from ebay and Internet bike shop sales that offered 20% discounts during Holiday sales. It took me about six months to accumulate the Di2 parts but I probably spent only about $1400 for my Di2 groupset.

Worked on the side opening.
Also revworked the shape a bit.
It has more cubic space than my first bento box.

Hey, in case you decide to sell these, let me know as I am interested. Like the first one better though. I would buy that from you if you want to sell it.

Great boxes, that is some great work.

If I can ask, what is the material that you used? Carbon fiber composite? Fiberglas? Something else? How do you make the molds? How long does it take you to make each one? We make a Speedpack (the 480D, pic here of one mounted on a bike) that mounts on the Speed Concept and the P5, but I like the way your bento boxes are form fitting with the rubber cable cover.

Here's my 2012 7.5.

I am still toying with the fit a little, so I will cut the steer tube when the time is right (and trim thefront and rear brake cable).
I have my eye on the TriRig Omega brake for the front end.
No race wheels yet, but I have a Zipp Disc and 808 that I will be able to borrow thru my next few races.
The Garmin will either end up on my wrist or mounted on the stem.

Here is my fully customized, originally 7.0. I had a 9.9 before this for a short period and I cannot tell a difference in it and this ride now that I have all carbon stem, aero bars, bull horns and sram red components.

I would like to add the center pull front brake. How difficult is it to change out the original front brake to a center pull and what center pulls out there work the best?

That is genius. How did you cut the hole for mounting?

I have no idea about swapping out the brake, but I assume that it is pretty straight forward. It will most likely require some sort of "cable hanger" on the headset. Depending on the width of it, this can probably replace a spacer.
The new TriRig prototype looks pretty sweet - http://tririg.com/. Not sure when it will be available, but I think "soon" according to their facebook page.

Looks awesome. What brackets did you use to mount the 3T pads to the aero extensions?

Thx, S

I used the same Bontrager brackets that came with the bike.
A little modifications on the 3T pad holes.
