I was watching the live feed of IM Germany and noticed something incredibly silly. When Cam Brown was lapping the age groupers, so many of them would see him and try to run with him. It kept happening over and over, and they would try to talk to him like they were buddies until Cam dropped them 500m later and picked another wannabe. I have never competed in an Ironman so I dont if this happend a lot, does it?

What other sport do you actually get to "participate" with the top pros of the sport. I guess some people get their 15 minutes (or seconds) of fame being able to run with the top pros. I am sure they are used to it and are probably so focused that it really doesn't bother them to much.
