So, for those in the area, can you report on the November weather for the past few years? What do you suspect the temp range to be? I over heat terribly, and its certainly in my (and others) interest to sort out the nutrition and drink now. Thank you in advance.

I lived about 15 miles from the start. In November we need arm warmers and sometimes, maybe a vest and or leg warmers for early morning rides. Can be hot as the day goes on, but expect the day to get into the low 80's.

Bear in mind that DD needs warmers whenever the mercury dips below 76...

Seriously, the pool was cold that day, everyone was in wetsuits but me and I have the pics to prove it. Even if it was 75 out.

Shouldn't be too bad. High may get up to mid 80's, but by T-giving time it's usually starting to stay in the 70's. Mornings can be a bit chilly.

I live in the area. If the '09 event is the same as this year (end of Nov.), you will be fine. Probably looking at temps in the 70s.

for az weather, it ain't bad for racing. depending on where you are from it may be hot for you. however, the temps. typically prove to be chilly in the a.m. but can reach the 80's easily. there is always a chance for things to go either way though. it could be unseasonably hot or cold. i am sure that there are websites that can provide weather trends and stuff like that...

I would plan and train for hot conditions and if it is cool(er), great. Last year the SOMA half IM was one week (I think) before the date of this year's fall IM AZ and the high temperature was about 100 degrees. They called it an aberration...

SOMA was October 28th. IMAZ is November 23rd. A month is a big difference.
Typically by Thanksgiving I'm starting to think about retiring the shorts. :)
