I've had this long-lasting respiratory infection and have been benched on and off for what seems like forever. Unfortunately this thing is a real meanie and can take a long time to kick. Since I've got some extra time on my hands I'd like to share some observations with my fellow-addicts:
I wake up before my alarm goes off, because my internal clock is telling me it's workout time.
I feel disconnected from the outside world. Usually at this time of year I'm watching spring happening day by day in the park. Now, no idea what's happening in there.
While my appetite has gone way down, I experience more instances of the munchies -- cravings even when I know I'm not hungry.
I have so much less laundry to do!
And, I do not smell like chlorine.
I guess this is how the other half lives... please, add your own observations.
