knee pain and saddle height
I have pain on the outside of my knee (I.T. band area). Could this mean my saddle is too high? I realize there could be other reasons for this pain, but I think I have heard someone say that the location of knee pain (i.e. whether it was on the inside of the knee vs. outside) could indicate whether saddle is too high/low? Has anyone else heard of this?

Take a look at this site to find some answers (or at least point you in the right direction): http://www.cptips.com/knee.htm

Thanks...this link was very helpful. I have this weird I.T. band/achilles tendonitis thing going on...the 2 seem to be connected to each other. I have a history of achilles tendonitis, but have never had problems with it while training for tris...just while running exclusively. I think I may have tweaked my knee due to a poor position on the bike and the resulting tightness may have caused the achilles to get inflamed. I'm just trying to figure it all out.
