Sanya is an island south of Hong Kong / Guangzhou.
Many resorts for vacation and site of the last miss world contest!
It is a nice place for vacation but more a tropical island than real China.
I do live in China and you would miss a lot if you do not stop somewhere else in China to visit.
Beijing is a must see.
They used to have the ITU Sanya triathlon over there so they got some training!
