super quick for anyone still up this late

i am looking at a super deal on a new bike and need to pull the trigger fast. its online (but fit in shop), just want to get the deal right now. for tri bikes you want a 2-3cm shorter top tube correct? i ride about a 56 cm road bike, but for tri i want a 53ish?

thanks

If you are positioned forward as most Tri bikes, you should generally go a little longer on the top tube (compared to a road fit) and use a shorter stem. That way, you won't have too much weight on the front wheel, causing you to feel the need to leave the aero bars, which makes you go slower on a fast downhill, lose the race and suffer the disdain of your fellow competitors.

Searching for aero bamboo tubes is gonna be a pain...
