Powder is durable but nowhere near as much as ano. If the powder isn't baked at the right temp..or if the frame wasn't perfectly clean before hand it can chip just as easily as wet paint. Ano becomes the metal..gets right into it's structure and is very difficult to get off if done right (same could be said for pc though too I suppose). All things being equal (finishes both done to perfection by a professional) I would still choose anodizing over powder coating if I wanted my finish to last. That's just my opinion..it and a fistful of dollars might get you something from Starbucks though.
