Nice bike, what is your favorite part about it... stiffness, comfort? There is another thread going on about the best/most comfortable road bikes.


I saw one of these on CyclingNews that weighed 10 pounds flat...

For a large (60-cm) frame the bike is light, with training wheels, clip on bars etc it ways just under 15lbs
The bike is incredibly smooth and fairly stiff.
I am not worried about the spacers as this is my climbing bike, I use it a few times a week when I go up into the mountains. It sticks to the road and corners well.

Ok, I know I am sponsored by Javelin, but this really is the nicest bike I have ever ridden.

Simon, what do you think of the Wintech computer? I have one and love it. Just need a power meter now!

Wow 15 lbs with the clip-ons & even the Arione, that is light. I would not even try to criticize you on the spacers, I figured some of the armchari q-backs would eventually chime in. I like the look of the slightly downward sloping top tube too, very classy.

15Lbs................? Kysrium Elite wheels, a Truvativ crank, some Record pieces (?), size 60 frame.......15Lbs............show us it on the scale!

Regarding the seat being high and this being a 60cm frame.......do you have 38inch inseam?

The spacers are fine.................who cares, comfort and power are the important factors.

That is a nice bike. serious question tho. If you use it for the mountians, why the clipon areabars? I loike the look fo the bke tho. Black is the only color manfus. should paint bikes INHO.

I use the bars when it is not to steep. We always seem to have a head wind at some stage of the climb.
What goes up must come down.....so they are handy on the decent.

Which bars are those? I've been pondering adding some to my road bike...
