win the Australia Ironman on April 1st? Craig Alexander who is arguably one of the better triathletes around will compete in his first Iron distance race in less than 2 weeks. I'd say even with no experience at this distance...he will win it....just a hunch...

Not too many win first time out, but since Macca won't be there, I'd like to see him take it. I met him at St. Anthony's a few years ago and he seemed like a nice guy. TOUGH competitor for sure and just a blazing swimmer.

Without Macca, he will definitely be the number 1 favorite after his win at 70.3 World Champs and 2nd place finish at the ITU Long Course Worlds. The man has it all.
