Very humble guy. I blew 2 tubes in less than 15 miles from Carlsbad to Cardiff. Sitting on the side of the road waiting for my ride, and this guy pulls up and sees if I need help. I look in the car and it was Normann. I guess he just got off a training run and was willing to drop me and my bike off back in Oceanside.

I gave him some congrats on his 2004 win, his reply was "Well... its March already! October 2004 is over..." . I wish Normann an awesome race.

Saw him this morning at the pier to swim. He looks GOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

Just curious would he be attractive if he weren't an Ironman champion? Perhaps, it is because I am a guy, but when I look at him I don't see a handsome man ... just average. I know handsome, I see it everyday .... in the mirror (<-- joke).

No, seriously, I have no problem with admitting when a guy is handsome. But, I don't see it when I see Stadler. I will say that he seems to be one of the more muscular triathletes. While that isn't saying a whole lot, it is saying something.

I ask b/c I hadn't heard a thing about Stadler being handsome ... then he wins Kona ... and now there's been multiple threads/posts about how hot he is.
