I've got the opportunity to buy my first mountain bike, used, from a friend. How do I know if I'm getting the right size? Is fit important on a mountain bike? I'm about 6'2" and 200lbs. He is about 6'0 and 165. Of course, I don't know if he was ever fit for the bike, but he has had it for 3 years. Anyway, what are the rules of thumbs for sizing a mountain bike? Oh yeah, its a Giant, Rainier, don't know what size.........
